When approved, the starter line along High Street would progress into the implementation phase. The implementation phase of the project can be broken into eight general tasks, which are laid out in the menu to the left.

It is estimated that it will take four years to complete the implementation of the initial line from near Mound Street to near the OSU Student Union, with approximately one and a half to two years for construction. It is envisioned that the construction will occur in phases, perhaps two or three blocks at a time, thus minimizing the impacts to the public and residential and commercial businesses located along the proposed line.
